Relatives of a minor who sustained critical injuries after being thrown from the top floor of London's museum have stated their "little knight" has reached his target of managing to run, jump, and swim again.

The French boy was aged six when he was thrown from a balcony by a teenager, then seventeen.

He, who was traveling with his parents in the summer of 2019 when attacked, survived a 98-foot drop but experienced significant wounds, like a bleed on the brain and fractures.

Parents said in an update on a crowdfunding platform, they were delighted that he had been able to improve with his running, jumping and swimming before his next procedure.

"He doesn't accomplish like youngsters his age, certainly, but we are unable to explain what he does in any other way than by calling it's jumping, swimming, and running."

"It's distinct, merely across a short distance or a very small height, but it's an amazing success."

The child, who endured a long time in intensive care, has persisted to build cognitive endurance.

Parents explained although his recollection capacity were still very limited, they were operational and improving, so he was "acquiring a basic understanding at his own pace, which increasingly allows him to be involved with other children."

'Mission Accomplished'

They added: "He is also maturing, and because of his therapy with the physical therapist, he presently permits himself to relax."

"Earlier, to make up for his weakness on the left-hand side, he held his right-hand side continuously stiff, which resulted in suffering."

"Now, our youngster (we have to face the facts, he's not a little boy any longer) has understood that he has to allow himself pauses; we need to remind him less."

He also reached a long-term objective with parent: "Because we reside a short distance from the sea, they had set their end target of enjoying a picnic at the seaside and then coming back."

"Following multiple gradual training sessions, they eventually finished their 150-minute excursion. They arrived home tired but delighted. Objective met."

Following a trial at the Old Bailey, the teenager was sentenced of trying to kill and was imprisoned in 2020 for no less than fifteen years.
